Design, art, music, wine and cuisine, NEGEV puts luxury into everything – euphoria to all of one’s senses in a stunning venue where our guests can escape the intensity of Jakarta. At the heart of Negev rests the root of a hundred year old tree, a symbol of natural beauty and life longevity that warms the entire room. From that heart sprouts a myriad of art pieces, paintings and sculptures that adorn every corner of our elegantly designed venue, exemplified by the famous “Leopard” sculpture from renowned artist Nyoman Nuarta.
Chef Ivan, the perfectionist behind NEGEV’s culinary prowess, runs an open kitchen where his magic touch and bold recipes are on display for all our fascinated gourmands to see. Drawing from the skills he honed in Spain, the menu reflects a mélange of Mediterranean and Asian cuisine blended with new signature dishes that are influenced by his unique creative vision. Our opulent wine cellar managed by our house sommelier boasts the finest selections available from both the New and Old World. Juxtaposed by our Gallery Bar that is overlooked by the Prague inspired sculpture, “evolution” – where London mixologist Daniel Alexander fittingly triumphs in the ‘evolution’ of the urban cocktail.
By day, subtle jazz and contemporary compilations provide the perfect atmosphere for a business lunch or a chat between friends. An evening at Negev is a sight to behold; the lighting is subtly arranged to provide the ideal date setting, and a sound booth occasionally hosts the cities most popular DJs.
